The version of TPro released with the date and time above has eliminated
the following known bugs:
- Year now correctly displayed
- Port initialization works correctly w/o going to setup menu

At this time, there are no known run-time bugs.

There have been some problems running TPro on certain computers. This is due to some
differences in .DLL files distributed with various versions of Windows, and has been 
successfully fixed by installing and then uninstalling the development environment
(MS Visual C++). You may contact me to borrow the CD.


The following notes may be helpful:
- Data is written as it is received and is not buffered; Thus, the data should be safe
  in the event of a software or hardware crash.

- Click the Logging Status button to begin data logging. The Button text will change to
  indicate that the software is logging data, and there may be messages visible briefly
  in the Status bar when data is being written. Data is always appended to the Logfile
  specified in the Setup box. Unwanted data files must be manually deleted.

- A header is placed before the first record, each time TPro is executed. This serves
  to indicate the beginning of a data logging session. The header consists of a short
  message and a line indicating the record format. Note that time is gmt and there is
  a julian day field for your convenience.

- The file tpro.dat contains only the com and calibration setting for TPro. If this
  file is lost or deleted, the some of the information will have to be input again
  via the setup menu. TIP: you may wish to save this file under a different name
  to use for different probe combinations.

- The Save & Exit Button saves only the TPro setup data (to tpro.dat) and has no
  effect on incoming data. The logged data file is automatically saved during logging.

- If there is continuous Invalid Data messages and the Temp values look like random 
  characters, try toggling the Echo setting in the setup menu and verify the Com port 
  baud rate are correct.

- The A/D channels will not in general need to be changed from their defaults. Changing
  this setting will not change the logged data records, but only the display of data
  to the screen.

- The Probe calibration settings apply only to the data displayed on the screen. The 
  logged data consists of ASCII decimal integer raw count values, exactly as they are 
  received from the probe microprocessor, with a date and time prepended.
