What if we eliminate the 12V loads (the freewave)?
Can't - freewave requires 12V power.

Kearfott might be putting ripple on the bus. We should filter 24V power outputs from MVC power board to minimize ripple/hash making it onto board. This goes for tailcone as well as kearfott.
Kearfott converter frequency 600 Khz (per MTR data sheet).
PC104 does NOT seem to be big noise contributor - mostly high frequency noise, probably suppressed locally. Need to quantify this better.
Try disconnecting kearfott at both ends. Kearfott cable might be acting as transmit antenna to transducer cable. Noise might not be from kearfott,
but from power board and being transmitted by kearfott power leads to transducer. Are power lines twisted pair in cable?


Need to check for tailcone noise.
