Dear Members of the Search Committee, I am writing to inquire about the possibility of obtaining a position in the autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) group at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI). I have completed a 3-year Post-Doctoral position in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Ottawa, and I am currently holding a Post-Doctoral position in the Department of Electronics at Carleton University. I indeed completed my master’s and PhD degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Ottawa, in 2014 and 2016, respectively. I am also holding a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical–Mechatronics and Automatic Control from the University Technology of Malaysia and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering from the Azad University. In addition, I completed various professional developments to fully hone my knowledge and skills toward my career, as evidenced by several awards and honors as well as published papers in conferences and journals. My abilities to thrive under pressure, in addition to my teaching and research qualifications, are well-documented in my resume and should allow me to make significant contributions to our esteemed institution. I am a hard who enjoy meeting the challenges I can face while working independently or within a research group.
