MINK 10 CCP / CCR Termination Cut cable to length Score for jacket removal Tape around cable jacket for abrasion w/ sandpaper Remove jacket, Gunkie stuff inside, filler strands Separate, strip, tin, ring out each wire, verify color code Comb out shield, solder, trim, solder on termination wire Bead blast connector shell potting area, clean w air/alcohol/air, insert O Ring Slip connector shell onto prepped cable Inspect O ring Put flux on connector insert solder pots Heat shrink over each wire one - at - a - time, 1/2" Solder wires into connector insert, pull down heat shrink Ring out the wire from connector pin to opposite connector pin Heat shrink the wire and pin Suggested pin order: 5 6 1 10 3 7 9 2 4 8 Seat connector insert using CCP / CCR connector for alignment Install Spiralox Install O Ring Lacing Tape wires Ring Out connector pins to opposite connector pins Ready for potting Resin 69 / Hardener 31 / Total: 100 grams Put resin into oven for about an hour Tape cable jacket at mold entry location ( leak / centering ) Coat bead - blasted metal of connector shell with FL10 / cure 30 - 60 minutes Coat roughened Urethane jacket with FL20 Put a light coat of FL20 over FL10 on metal shell Put another light coat of FL20 on the Urethane jacket Lightly spray cable molds with Mann 200 mold release, wait 10 mins, lightly wipe w Kemwipe Use clay to build a dam on top of mold surrounding entry into the mold Take resin out of oven, pour in hardener until scale reads 100 grams Stir w flat stirrer, getting sides and bottom of container Slowly pour the mix into the mold, through the center hole, rock the mold, allowing bubbles to exit Place assembly into pressure chamber / Dog down the top / Pressurize to red line ~ 55 psi Allow three hours for compound to harden
