Structure of LPCOpen code

The LPCOpen is structured into components that consist of Chip layer code, Board (platform) layer code, various 3rd party application code, and application/example code.

A note about sys_config.h
The IP and Chip layer code do not use any board layer code except for the sys_config.h platform file. The sys_config.h file contains definitions that alter and optimize how the IP and Chip layer drivers are built - such as selecting custom features for a specific devices or optimizing out code for a feature that isn't used.
