Install Notes on JStar Diagnostic Topside Software:

There are two key components of the JStar, namely:

JStar.Exe : Executable
JStar.Ini : Current settings

You may have to adjust the settings the first time
you run.  Please check the network address for the
Sonar connection, which is normally:

Direct to FSDW	192.9.0.101	1700
Through FSIU	192.10.0.100	1600

Please refer to the JStar manual for more details.

To read the manual, you must have acrobat reader
installed.  An installation file is included to
install acrobat reader if you are receiving this
software on a CD.  Otherwise, run the file

c:\Drivers\ARxxx.exe (where xxx is the latest version)
to install.
