https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrWKY4u1a_4 Matching lengths of several traces Assign color command to the traces to be matched Launch Constraint Manager Go to Electrical workbook ... Net ... Routing ... Total Etch Length Colored nets show up Select nets, make a class, give it a name Rt mouse button on the name ... analyze ... gives the actual lengths Could now put an over-riding value in the class name Min and Max Making a rule set Go to Electrical Constraint Set ... Routing ... Total Etch Length Rt mouse button select "schedule_phase_dyn..." Create Electrical CSet dialog box opens Give it a name Then specify values in column that opens up: Minimum Total Etch and Maximum Total Etch The advantage is when you go back to Electrical Constraint Set...Net...Total Etch Length and apply that rule set ( by right mouse button clicking on the net class name ), then if a change is needed, all the min/max settings can be done back in the Electrical Constraint Set ... Routing ... Total Etch Length setting Minimize Constraint Manager Back in the pcb window, the trace lengths that don't conform have DRC error bow-ties To start matching the lengths, hover over the DRC; it will display the constraint value and the actual value Go to menu Route...Delay Tune Hover over the trace, right mouse button, delay tune As you drag the line, accordian track appears, heads up display goes from red to green when length meets constraint value, click to confirm Do this for each DRC bow-tie trace Go back to Constraint Manager, all the nets should be green
