Subject: PCDAS changes for SEANAV port change Date: Tue, 3 Jul 2001 14:10:01 -0500 From: "John Campolieto" Organization: Kearfott Guidance & Navigation Corp. To: hthomas@mbari.org Please forward to Jose. Hans Jose may need your help switching the file. I am sending you the changes you need to run the SEANAV using the PC's internal RS232 port (instead of the RS422 port). In the original configuration the SEANAV was connected to COM2 (RS422 PCMCI card) and the StarLink to COM1 (RS232 internal). This change reverses them. After you switch the SEANAV EEPROM, plug the alternate cable into the PC's COM1 port (where the StarLink was). You will not be able to plug in the StarLink. The CFG.IN0 file contains port information about the 2 interfaces. The updated file reverses the port an interrupt number. This is done by swapping the first 2 entries in the SEANAV and StarLink sections. Attachment CFG.IN0 isa text file with the updated information.
