Day One (14 Dec): Transit to a work area that is flat and level, at a depth of approximately 200 meters. Deploy Tiburon, and drop a Homerpro to mark the start point. Record the coordinates and depth. Move away approximately 200 meters to the West, and drop another Homerpro to mark the end point of the test area, again recording the coordinates and depth. First Series - Straight and Level Flight: 1. a) Land within 2 meters of Homerpro 1. b) Start logging nav data. c) Ascend to 50 meters altitude. d) Proceed in straight and level flight to Homerpro 2, at maximum speed. e) Turn around over Homerpro 2, with out changing altitude, and return in straight and level flight, at maximum speed, to Homerpro 1. f) Descend and land at Homerpro 1. Land as closely as possible to the exact starting location. When approaching the landing site, maintain altitude for as long as is reasonably possible before starting the descent. g) Terminate nav log. Check the data to ensure validity. 2. Repeat Maneuver 1 except at one-half speed. 3. Repeat Maneuver 1 at full speed, and 20 meters altitude. 4. Repeat Maneuver 1 at one-half speed, and 20 meters altitude. 5. Repeat Maneuver 1 at full speed, and 10 meters altitude. 6. Repeat Maneuver 1 at one-half speed, and 10 meters altitude. 7. Repeat Maneuver 1 at full speed, and 5 meters altitude. 8. Repeat Maneuver 1 at one-half speed, and 5 meters altitude. 9. Repeat Maneuver 1 at full speed, and 2 meters altitude. 10. Repeat Maneuver 1 at one-half speed, and 2 meters altitude. Second Series - Rectilinear Grid Pattern: 11. a) Land within 2 meters of Homerpro 1. b) Start logging nav data. c) Ascend to 10 meters altitude. Maintain this altitude until landing. d) Proceed North for 200 meters, then West 100 meters, then South 200 meters, then West 100 meters to Homerpro 2, at maximum speed. e) Turn around over Homerpro 2, with out changing altitude, and reverse the above course to Homerpro 1. f) Descend and land at Homerpro 1. Land as closely as possible to the exact starting location. When approaching the landing site, maintain altitude for as long as is reasonably possible before starting the descent. g) Terminate nav log. Check the data to ensure validity. 12. Repeat Maneuver 11 except at one-half speed. 13. Repeat Maneuver 11 except at 5 meters altitude, at maximum speed. 14. Repeat Maneuver 11 except at 5 meters altitude, at one-half speed. 15. Repeat Maneuver 11 except at 2 meters altitude, at maximum speed. 16. Repeat Maneuver 11 except at 2 meters altitude, at one-half speed. Recover the Homerpros and Tiburon. Day Two: Repeat Day One, except in a flat and level work area of approximately 2000 meters depth.
