ADCP: 
- SIAM service should set ADCP clock so that instrument time stamp
- ADCP 1294 is a 75 kHz, not 300 kHz
- add burst mode parameter to metadata (how to set)
- for future, have service set up instrument via properties
- internal data recording? yes (currently, surfaced is not recording internally)
- check schedule for surface adcp (schedule looks like 3 min, data returned has 1 hour resolution (Ryan)

pCO2:
- has internal RTC; could set or just read clock and compare to get next sample
- getData returns most recent measurement, not all data since last successful getData
- sample schedule: relative 1 hour schedule may miss sample if started at (instrument internal clock) top of hour 
- check current limit

ISUS:
- should set RTC during initialization
- data looks good
- need in metadata: cal file info, 

ASIMET SWR:
- need to run through some light/dark cycles
- no cap...data looks like there IS a cap
- mount to see sky
- get 1 week time series plot

ASIMET LWR:
- no cap...data looks like there IS a cap

ASIMET WND:

SBE37SM:
- set clock: must send date and time, date before time
- should use logging mode+SL (to get data if mooring fails)
- TSS takes sample and records internally, but doesn't help if mooring fails
- Data checks pending (Chavez)

ECO FLNTU:
- current limit too low (Mark will send out policy)
- any way to detect shutter failure? have been problems (coletti)
- is FLNTUSB (B: battery, S: shutter) not FLNTUS (their firmware says FLNTUS)

HyperOCR:
- external shutter is for biofouling, internal is for measuremnt

PowerCan:
- deferred (pending Mellinger)

General:
- any instrument that records internally should have its clock set by the service
- no calibration info from mfg for ASIMETs (how do we know if cal is correct?)
- current limit should be 4x nominal?
