ABSTRACT:  The recorder does not download all files.

INSTRUMENT/PROGRAM AFFECTED:  All Workhorse recorders using firmware version
8.11 or previous.  Only recorders using two PC cards of the same size are
affected (e.g. two 10 MB cards, or two 20 MB cards).

DESCRIPTION:
  Recorders with two same-size cards, one with data, the other empty:
    Downloading the data using BBTALK, the files on the first card are down
    loaded twice.  The downloaded data will be corrupted. Data on the recorder
    is unaffected and still recoverable.

  Recorders with two same-size cards, both with data:
    Downloading the data using BBTALK, some files on the second card are not
    downloaded.  In addition, some files may contain invalid data. Data on the
    recorder is unaffected and still recoverable.

  Recorders with two same-size cards, both with data:
    Downloading the data using RECOVER, data recovery will stop after the data
    from the first card is recovered.  RECOVER will not allow data files to be
    overwritten. Files on the second card are not downloaded.  Data on the
    recorder is unaffected and still recoverable.

SOLUTION/ACTION:
  Short-Term - Recover data from recorders with two same-sized cards with only
  one card installed during data recovery.

  Long-Term - Replace the firmware with version 8.12, which is available from
  RDI at no charge.
