PlanADCP - WorkHorse Deployment Configuration Planning Software Package

Details:  This program PlanADCP has been designed specifically for users to 
create a deployment configuration file for a WorkHorse (WH) ADCP.

Version 2.01 (1 August 2002):

Initial release:

This version of the program is an entirely new version of the planning module 
(PLANADCP).  This new planning module includes all of the original functions 
plus:

 - updated calculations for power consumption**
 - range
 - battery power
 - current profiling modes 5, 8, 11, and 12
 - bottom track
 - ability to edit the configuration file from within the program
 - feed back on how many batteries are required for the deployment

** As a result of these updates the user will find that the power consumption 
will be, in most cases, less than were obtained in the previous version of the 
planning module (PLAN).  This is the result of our experience and improved 
modeling of these operations.

How to Update to Latest Version:  To download the latest version click on the 
download button.  Once downloaded double click on the file and the self-extracting 
file will open allowing access to 'PLANADCP SETUP.EXE' file.  Double click the 
'PLANADCP SETUP.EXE' file and the program will install. 

Next Scheduled Update:  The next scheduled maintenance update is in the 
1 February 2003.   Intended for future releases throughout the year 2003 we 
will add features:

 - Increased flexibility to the new modes
 - WAVES feature support
 - LADCP feature support
