Spectrum API Version 3.5-Beta3 Release Notes (April 10, 2001)

This kit contains the following files:

   API.DOC      - A Word 97 document that describes how to use the Spectrum 
                  API.

   README.TXT   - This readme file.

   SPECTRUM.DLL - The Spectrum Dynamic Link Library.

   SPECTRUM.EXE - The Spectrum executable program.

   SPECTRUM.H   - A header file that can be used when calling the Spectrum 
                  API routines from C or C++.

   SPECTRUM.INC - An include file that can be used when calling the Spectrum 
                  API routines from Visual Basic or Visual Basic for 
                  Applications.

   SPECTRUM.LIB - The Spectrum library file used for implicit linking to
                  SPECTRUM.DLL.

   SPECTRUM.XLA - The Spectrum Data Logger Add-in for Excel 97. This add-in 
                  adds a custom menu to Excel, that provides access to 
                  Spectrum data loggers. To enable the add-in you must do the 
                  following:

                  1. Copy Spectrum.dll to the Windows directory.
                  2. Add the add-in using the Tools,Add-ins menu item in Excel.

                  NOTE THAT SPECTRUM.XLA HAS NOT BEEN UPDATED, AND SHOULD NOT
                  BE USED WITH THIS VERSION OF THE SPECTRUM API.
