# Olimex Programmer

The MSP430 programmer is freeware software from Olimex Ltd which allow MSP430 devices to be programmed with MSP430-JTAG, MSP430-JTAG-TINY and MSP430-JTAG-ISO programmers without need of other 3rd party software. 
The software uses the standard TI MSP430.dll so it may work with other 3rd party hardware as well but this is not tested.
The MSP430 programmer works on Windows XP where the major testing was done, but it may work on other Windows OS as well (not tested use at your own risk).
The standard input file format is Intel HEX format and the software allow editing, manipulation of the HEX content and read/write to MSP430 microcontrollers via the JTAG interface.
Remember this is beta release software and it may work or may not work as expected. Use at your own risk, Olimex Ltd releases this software at good faith and will try to remove any reported bug in timely manner, but will be not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of this software.
