.SH DESCRIPTION

This utility can be used to view the content of ADCP NB raw files as
described in RDI's Technical Manual. The successive list of files to
visit must be listed in file \fIlist\fP. The latter is treated as
a usual control file and can therefore contain C-style comments.
.Pp
Although RDI's programme LISTADCP can display the same,
\fBview_nbr\fP does not perform any conversion.

.SH ENVIRONMENT

.Pp
In order to work, environment variable \fBCODASHOME\fP must be
set to the root directory of the CODAS installation. This
requirement should be avoided in a future release.

.SH FILES

.Pp
File \fIgfi/etc/view_nbr.mnu\fP in the CODAS installation
tree contains text for help menus. This requirement should be
avoided in a future release.
