Folks -

All the cruise data has been loaded onto polarbear. The data is accessible by mapping the shared directory "altex" from polarbear:

1)map the network drive in the normal windows way. Polarbear should be listed in the browse list for workgroup lagoon, and the altex share will under it.

2)the cruise data is in altex\data\Oct01_Healy. The directory division is as follows:

auvdata - raw mission log files, processed matlab files, mission scripts, etc, stored by year/jday/mission number format.

cruiseLog - drew's microsoft access cruise log

ctddata - cast data from the ship ctd, processed with the right calibration coefficients

ctd-raw-err - raw cast data, processed with the wrong coefficients (kept because it is the raw data)

eventdata - not really sure, something Ned generated

Images - digital still images with shot lists

ins - ins initialization data from the kearfott

ln250_logs - ln250 data sets w/ simultaneous kearfott and octans data sets

SCSData - ship SCS data

ShipsLog - ship's bridge log sheets. These used an excel form, which we don't currently have, so they're hard to read

Winfrog - winfrog log files

The cvs repository still has to get reinstalled from the cruise, which will probably happen tomorrow. Also, for external folks (Ned primarily), we can try to set up an externally visible HTTP server or ftp server to get at the data. Let me know if this is necessary.
