Use the directions below to make it available to you. (Note that if you already have a magene style, this may blow it away.) To setup the Haxby color ramp in ArcGIS, you will need to rename this file as your username, eg magene.style, and then copy it into your Application Data folder, following the path C:\Documents and Settings\(your user name, eg magene)\Application Data\ESRI\ArcMap To set this up for the computer rather than just for you as a user, you need to go into Tools > Styles > Style Manager. In the left of the dialogue box, there should be your style and the ESRI style. In your style, scroll down to the color ramp, and open it. Right click and copy the Haxby ramp and then paste it into the ESRI style in the color ramp folder. It should now be among the color ramps available for grid symbology, stretched values. The color definition used by MB-System for the Haxby color palette is: color pallette 1 - Haxby Color Table red: 255 255 255 255 240 205 138 106 50 40 37 green: 255 186 161 189 236 255 236 235 190 127 57 blue: 255 133 68 87 121 162 174 255 255 251 175 (See for example: http://www.mbari.org/data/mbsystem/html/mbm_grdplot.html) You can make your own ramp from this if you need to. --Jenny ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jennifer B.
