Bugs: none known. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RELEASE: 02/20/07: EX 0.3 Revisions: Applicable SLCD revision: 3.1 Functionality: This release includes all the functionality of the previous release and also includes a fix to initialize the interrupt on B0 to a falling edge trigger. Additionally, this version reports "0.3" when queried for the firmware version. Bugs: none known. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RELEASE: 06/20/07: EX 0.4 Revisions: Applicable SLCD revision: 3.2 Functionality: This release includes all the functionality of the previous release and also includes an additional bit in the status message. The status message now reports two hex characters for status. See SLCD 3.2 for details. Bugs: none known. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RELEASE: 07/12/07: EX 0.5 Revisions: Applicable SLCD revision: 3.2 Functionality: This release includes all the functionality of the previous release and also includes a bug fix. Gulper IDs 0 and 1 would not include a CR/LF at the end of their command response. The problem was solved by using a fixed time (3 msec) for a delay in the serial loop. See is/was documentation for more details. Bugs: none known. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RELEASE: 08/13/07: EX 0.6 Revisions: Applicable SLCD revision: 3.3 Applicable Commands Reference: 1.0 Functionality: This release includes all the functionality of the previous release and also includes a bug fix. Bit #4 in the status message was being set even after the proximity sensor timeout had expired. A fix was added to prevent interrupt servicing of the proximity sensor following the timeout expiration. Also, the proximity sensor timeout was erroneously set to 60 seconds. This has now been changed to 30 seconds in version 0.6. Bugs: none known. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RELEASE: 08/16/07: EX 0.7 Revisions: Applicable SLCD revision: 3.3 Applicable Commands Reference: 1.0 Functionality: This release includes all the functionality of the previous release and also includes a workaround. The proximity sensor ISR now adjusts for occasional noise on the interrupt line that was causing "false" interrupts. A 1.5 V falling edge can be noted on occasion when the pin puller is retracted. The ISR now waits at least 200 msec before assuming that the interrupt is valid. Interrupt servicing prior to firing remains the same. Bugs: none known.
