Follow these steps to install the board:

1. If you have not already physically plugged the board into your
machine, please power down and do so. Then power on and boot into
Windows 2000 and resume at step 2.

2. If, upon boot, Windows detects the ADM-XRC and automatically prompts
you to install a driver for it, click "Cancel" and go to step 3.

If Windows does not prompt you, go to step 3.

3. Unzip the contents of the ADM-XRC driver .ZIP file to a temporary
directory on your hard disk, making a note of the path.

4. Invoke the Windows 2000 Device Manager. This is done as follows:

      a. Select "Start->Settings->Control Panel" from the start menu.

      b. Double click the "System" icon in the control panel.

      c. Select the "Hardware" tab in the System control panel applet.

      d. Click the "Device Manager" button.

5. If you are upgrading the device driver for an ADM-XRC card which
is already using the ADM-XRC driver, select the device you want to
upgrade and then go to step 6.

If you are installing the device driver for an ADM-XRC card for the
first time, you must locate the device in the Device Manager. It#
will usually appear in the Device Manager under the name "Other
PCI Bridge Device" or similar. Select the device and go to step 6.

6. Double click the device you selected in step 5. This will bring up
the device's property page, entitled "<XXX> Properties" where
<XXX> is the model of the card (eg. ADM-XRCII).

7. Select the "Driver" tab.

8. Click the "Update driver" button.

9. At "Welcome to the Upgrade Device Driver Wizard", click the "Next" button.

10. At "Install Hardware Device Drivers", select the "Display a list of the
known drivers for this device..." option and click the "Next" button.

11. If the wizard now shows "Hardware Type" and "What type of hardware do you
want to install", select the "Other devices" icon and then click "Next" and
    go to step 11.

Otherwise, if the wizard shows "Select a Device Driver", go directly to
    step 11.

12. At "Select a Device Driver", click the "Have Disk" button.

13. In the "Install From Disk" dialog, click the "Browse" button.

14. Navigate to the directory you unzipped the ADM-XRC driver files to
in step 3, and select the file "admxrc.inf". Then click the "Open" button.

15. In the "Install From Disk" dialog, click the "Ok" button.

16. Back at "Select a Device Driver", click the "Next" button, without
changing the selection in the "Models" pane.

17. At "Start Device Driver Installation", click the "Next" button.

18. At "Completing The New Hardware Found Wizard", click the "Finish" button.

19. Click the "Ok" or "Close" button in the device's properties page. The
Device Manager should now updated, showing the upgraded or newly
