INSTALLATION NOTES FOR MS 1000

1. UNINSTALL ANY OLDER VERSION OF THE MS1000 BEFORE INSTALLING NEW VERSION
   This is accomplished by using Windows Add/Remove Programs 
   utility in the Control Panel.

2. To install MS1000 on a computer running Windows 2000/XP, 
   run the Setup.exe program located in the Ms1000-Win2000XP directory.

3. Any recorded data from previous installations may now be moved 
   to the new MS1000 Directory before delete the directory.

4. Sample recorded data is included on the CD the \SampleData subdirectory. 
   Use the Playback option in the MS1000 to view these files. 
   Note: No protection Key is needed for this. 

5. The MS1000 is a full featured Sonar Processor which is designed 
   to run on a standard Windows 2000/XP PC as the only application. 
   It is NOT a general purpose utility program, and as such should 
   be run on a PC with a minimum of other software.

   Other programs which use the Communication Ports can interfere
   with MS1000 operation. This is particularly true of Laptops that 
   may have Infrared Port drivers installed.
