DESIGN MODE - MENU OPTIONS - SET OPTIONS

The Options menu is used to set system parameters, that affect the operation or appearance of the user interface in general. From the options menu you can:

Set a reference Identifier for the project you are working on. The ProjectID is used for a number of purposes, including the construction of backup file names.
Set the snap grid interval for positioning and aligning objects on the design mode screen. Object position and size will be restricted to equal increments of the snap grid interval.
Set screen foreground and background colours
Set the frequency of the function alert tone, which will sound when an error occurs durint the operation of the system
Set the depth of the border (if enabled), for objects in the screen layout.
Set the update rate of the fast update timer. Use values from 100ms to 1000ms.
Set the HELP system reference for the current selected layout.
