FUNCTION

The ANALYSIS DISPLAY BUTTON object enables you to place a analysis display button on the display as required. The object can be manipulated as follows:

can be moved to the desired position and resized
background and text colour can be changed
font style, size, alignment can be changed
can be emphasized with the bold attribute
can be highlighted by enabling the 'outline' frame

USAGE INFORMATION

When the button is activated the display will switch to analysis mode. The analysis display is in the form of a spread sheet representing the selected control system database. The user can browse the database to examine control system data, or with the appropriate access level, modify values, e.g for scaling or alarms etc.

STATUS

The status value is used to enable/disable a channel within the database. If a channel is disabled its value will always be zero. Relay channels are a special for of digital output channel which are controlled from the analysis display. They are used mainly for power supplies or outputs that normally remain in a fixed state during operations. A relay channel is turned On/Off using the channel status button.

DESCRIPTION & UNITS

The channel description and units are define when a system is constructed.

The analysis display sorts data channels by type:

DI - Digital Input
DO - Digital Output
AI - Analog Input
AO - Analog Output
CT - Counter
FL - Flag
SA - System Analog (Not used)
SC - System Counter (Not used)
SV - System Variable
RL - Relay (special digital output)
HY - Hydraulic Function
