EXELDAT3.EXE
============

Run this program from anywhere on the C: drive but have the .LOG file
in the following directory:

    C:\TESTS\VLCT

The following files will be created from Filename.LOG:

    Filename.TMP - This file is not needed & can be deleted
    Filename.DAT

Filename.DAT is Filename.LOG but is fully sorted in Serial Number order
and is formatted to correspond to the main Excel database fields.


MAIN EXCEL DATABASE
===================

The main Excel database is stored in
            Q:\EVERYONE\PRODUCTS\VLCT.XLS

            Note: This may have been changed to
            Q:\PRODUCTS\VLCT.XLS (PJF 18/01/2000)

The password is "lowcost".


TIPS FOR UPDATING MAIN EXCEL DATABASE
=====================================

1. From Filename.DAT, create an Excel file called Filename.XLS.
2. Open another Excel application and load the main database.
3. From Filename.XLS, copy blocks of contiguous data.
4. Use Paste Special|csv to paste the contents into the main database.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Always ensure that you insert suffiecient rows before copying,
                otherwise the cells below will be overwritten!!
