During 2016 and 2017, other project developments (ESP, Integrated Time Series, Data TAG) started to develop requirements that were similar to the requirements of the Data Catalog component of the ODSS. In order to reduce replication of code, the ODSS development team will work on a common piece of catalog code with other projects so that we are utlizing the same software in all products. This catalog will include indexing all files and products and make them searchable as well as allowing the indexing of external information sources such as samples and geospatial layers that will be available on the ODSS. A second effort will be to migrate the existing user interface away from ExtJS to another open framework and to replace an aging OpenLayers 2 map, with a newer LeafletJS map which will allow the inclusion of some new layers from APIs like Windy (https://www.windy.com). In addition to these efforts, we will also be spending time to support CANON field activties as we have in previous years. 1. Catalog development and integration: Gomes 150 hours 2. ODSS framework migration: Gomes 100 hours 3. Experiment Support: Gomes 80 hours, Cline: 80 hours, Edgington 100 hours, McCann 80 hours
