## LASS Subastian Integration Tasks

* **New Power Wiring and Actuation control wiring**

  * We need cable assemblies to adapt LASS power supply and tilting control power and communication (2 assemblies total), and need to coordinate with Nic Bingham at SOI for review.
  * Order Cables **(10-16 weeks)**
  * Draw assemblies **(1 day)**
  * Make cable assembly **(2 days)**

* **Omnicron to lancer adaptor for FO connection of LASS**

  * Subastian uses Impulse Omnicron connectors for their fibers, the LASS uses the Lancer connector. We need an adaptor can or have to switch the bulkhead connector on the power can of the LASS.
  * Bioinspiration lab has a omnicron bulkhead to borrow, SOI has had spares as well.
  * Depending on solutions, **4-8 weeks if machining parts**. I believe we have all of the connectors we need.

* **Retrofit the Heat Flow Probe**

  * The MBARI heat flow probe needs a new connector and cable to become compatible with other units that Rob Harris at OSU has at the very least. There was a plan to send the unit to WHOI for calibration and upgrade to newer generation electronics, SOI was going to fund this work partially.
  * Order new bulkhead and cable **(10-16 weeks)**
  * Send to WHOI for upgrade (optional) **(??)**

  

* **Generate a shipping plan for the tilting stage only that fits the AUVS in the same container.** 

* **SOI Tasks**

  * Design adaptors for their skid to the stationary side of the LASS tilting Assembly
  * Adapt Strobe arms to SOI skid
  * Modify deck stand to allow for mechanical relief of LASS parts.
  * Jason Williams thinks he can make the September deadlines in short review of the request, I am waiting for more detail in the short term.
