ModBusView setup:  Unzip modbusview148.zip, then run the .exe file there.
To make it run more than 15 minutes, you need the serial & registration
numbers, in the email below.

snTest is just a DOS executable.  But first you need to put
cygwin1.dll into C:/Windows/System32

You don't need snTest.c or Makefile, they're just there to allow you
to modify the software and rebuild (yeah, right).
