Times are PDT on 11Jun15 Notes by McGill from MARS lab, not on ship. 0939 ROV launch 1016 Video feed from ship is deck only, didn’t switch automatically to ROV like it should. ROV appears to be on bottom now as last float was just attached. 1028 Hydrophone will be going on MARS port 8. Ground faults with connectors deadfaced are 375 V 17 uA, 375 V COM 14 uA, 48 V 3 uA, 48 V COM 1 uA. 1031 Cable is 65.8 m long past the power can, plus 10 m of oil-filled for ODI. This info is in a pic of the MARS lab whiteboard. Pic is in Project Library PAM folder. 1049 Ship calling, still no video from them. 1054 Ship says ODI connector is plugged in. We’re doing another GF check. No changes, which is good. 1055 Hydrophone powered up, pings (10.1.18.2 inside MARS, 134.89.42.182 outside MARS) are flakey, come and go. 1139 Lucy can only run inside MARS network, so we can’t test to sound.shore.mbari.org. We can connect from outside, but no data get through. Pete may not have enabled all the necessary ports through the firewall. Even running inside MARS network, there are too many data interruptions. Every time data are dropped, a new file is created. Files are only a few MB in size instead of 450 MB as they should be. System is not usable in its current state. 1206 Power to hydrophone turned off. ROV will bring hydrophone back to MBARI for reconfiguration.
