# ITS Data Repository Requirements
* Users can download the data they currently have selected
* Users can share a URL to others that will give them the same view
* Interface will remember where a logged in user was and will bring them to the same spot when they login again.
* User can select what series of data they want on the same scale
* User can specify axis extents (y axis)
* Users can add calculation (maybe R scripts) that will continually process data (on udpates) and give results
* Users can resize various components of interface. For example, make graph full screen
* Users should be able to hide things they don't want to see
* For animal counts, give user option to show as a percentage of the total
* Integrate the concepts of 'seasonal cycles' and 'seasonal variability' into the interface (not sure what that means exactly)
* Allow users to select a log scale
* Calculate: means, averages
* Show anomolies in the interface
* Zeros need to plot in the interface
* Should be able to choose data by platform (?)
* User can add their own derived products and plot with other data
* User can do counts by selecting a location in the phylo tree and aggregate down (or up?)
* Select 10 main species for the benthic
* Could we tie this into the Deep Sea Guide?
* Answer questions like 'what is preferred depth of animal x?'
* Answer questions like 'what is the distribution of animal x by depth?'
* For surface data: groups & then expand to show species (not sure what this means?)
* For surface data: take species and add into groups (not sure what this means?)
* For midwater: create filters like '10 most abundant'
* Look at Tim O'Brien's NOAA-SCRIPPS 'Copepod' website for ideas
* Get rid of ending / in the base url
* Allow user to select different chart types
* Add flourometer voltages for midwater, surface and benthic
* Add tide data
* Add daylight indications
* Users should be able to slide one timeseries against another and have correlations calculated dynamically to look for lags
* User can integrate over data sets to produce new data sets and plots
