**The Email Archive folder is optional. Sometimes it is useful to keep selected emails versus writing memos and notes that are otherwise already documenting the project**. Note: extensive use of sub-folders may be required. Also, this is not a substitute for proper minutes and memos to notify the team and other staff. It is very useful when keeping a record of general notifications or communications outside of the normal team. Note: Use of images, attachments, and other documentation associated with the email are always helpful. Often these are useful later when publishing and knowledge of the correct source is required.Caution: Let your team know in advance if you will be keeping all the emails and or selecting them for archiving. Staff often use email in a lax method and do not normally expect their emails to be made part of a public record.
