# Coastal Profiling Float CPFp3

__CPFp3__ refers to the 3rd generation of the Coastal Profiling Float design. Key features of this design include:

*  MBARI Designed Motherboard that has integral:
  * Pump power switching
  * onboard power electronics with energy monitors
  * daughtercard slots
* MBARI Daughtercards:
  * Power switch boards, designed with the ability to increase UART count through I2C uarts from EXAR, and control power outputs with energy monitors.
  * Digital IO cards, for valve control and other DIO.

Sensor packages are the same, and thus the software tracks back to the CPF repo for most objects. 
 

This is the main development repository for the Coastal Profiling Float. This firmware is written for the GHI G400-S microprocessor.
