	We have had problems with bad reed switches and I believe they are casued by improper
	 handling of the devices during lead forming and installation.  
	 1) holding glass while bending leads
	 2) rotating to aling leads
	To allieviate concern 1, the mounting hole distance should be increased to allow more
	 working room while forming.
	To allieviate concern 2, some form of a jig should be utilized such that the leads are
	 bent paralllel and do not neeed to be rotated into position.
