Overview The BTC FFT demo demonstrates transfering data from the Blackfin BF537 Ez-Kit over Background Telemetry Channels. The FFT demo program generates a input sin wave that increases in frequency over time. A FFT is performed on the input signal. The input and output data is transferred to the IDDE over BTC. II. Required Hardware: 1) Blackfin BF537 Ez-Kit. 2) HP-PCI ICE, HP-USB ICE, or USB cable (for onboard USB debug agent). III. Operation Description 1) Start the IDDE. 2) Select a PCI, USB or BF537 Ez-Kit session. 3) Build and load the DSP program. 4) Restore the plots (View->Debug Windows->Plot->Restore) fft_in.vps and fft_out.vps 5) Open a BTC Memory Window (View->Debug Windows->BTC Memory) 6) Right-click on the plot and select "Auto Refresh Settings..." Select: Use BTC. Select: Transfer an array of data. Set refresh rate to 150. 7) Run the DSP Program. 8) Right-click on the plots and select "Auto Refresh" 9) In the BTC Memory window select FREQ STEP SIZE. Right-Click and change the format to Hex32. Change the value (0->100) to increase/decrease the frequency step size. IV.
