To determine which version of VisualDSP++ you have installed, select Help -> About VisualDSP++ from the VisualDSP++ Environment menu bar, or locate VisualDSP++ in the Windows Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs list.

To install the validation code, select Help -> About VisualDSP++ -> Licenses, from the VisualDSP++ Environment menu bar, or locate Manage Licenses in the Windows Start menu -> Programs -> Analog Devices -> VisualDSP++.   Select the appropriate serial number and after pressing Validate, enter the code, then press OK.
