Readme File for the vxWorks SLIP Windows Driver

These are instructions for Windows 98.  

Installation instructions: 

1. Copy vxworksslip.inf to c:\windows\inf
2. Start->Settings->Control Panel->Modems
3. Select Add
4. Select Other
5. Check Don't run the Hardware Installation Wizard
6. Check Don't detect my modem; I will select it from a list.
7. Select "VxWorks SLIP NULL Modem".
8. Select appropriate COM port 

Network Setup

1. Two components are needed "Dial-up Adapter", and
"TCP/IP->Dial-Up Adapter". If they don't exist in
Start->Settings->Control Panel->Network, add them.

Change MTU
1. Start->Settings->Control Panel->Network->Dial-Up Adapter->Advanced
2. Select property IP Packet Size.
3. Set Value to Small.

Reboot your computer.
