Net tow had a very high abundance of ceratium. lysate was very green. This is an SSU array using Bi-dig signals. 276001.tif (30 sec exp.) and 276002 (60 sec exp.) Thursday October 3rd 1215 hours This sample is Hab #1 for ESP. Looks like a very good negative. Net tow had rhizoselina (very abundant). Australis/Frudulent size pseudo nitzshia and a fair amount of blunt end ceratium. 277001.tif (30 second exp.) and 277002.tif (60 second exp.) Friday October 4th 0800 hours morning. This array is HAB #2. Sampling started at 0800 on friday the 4th. Array looks good Heterosigma spots slightly elevated but I do not think it is a hit. Array background is 6000-8000 counts. comp spots ~10,000 to 11,000. 277003.tif (30 second exp.) and 277004.tif (60 second exp.) Friday October 4th 1600 hours afternoon. SSU #3 universal spots U338 are at ~15000 counts. background is ~ 5000 counts. All other probes are negative. 279003.tif (30 second exp.) and 279004.tif (60 second exp.) Sunday October 6th 0800 hours morning. HAB #5 shows no hit on any species specific spots. Comp spots were at 14500 to 16500 counts. 281003.tif (30 second exp.) and 281004.tif (60 second exp.) Tuesday October 8th 0800 hours morning. This is SSU #5. RV Pt Lobos made a cast at 0800 hours. Samples were collected at 0m, 10m, and 20m. Array U338 spots had a maximum value of 29000 counts. Background was between 7000 to 8500 counts. No other spots lit off. Edges of the array were dark. Some wrinkling may have occured. Surface net tow dominated by blunt end ceratium. Some psuedo nitzshia also present.
