The Tropospheric Emission Spectrometer (TES) is a
high-resolution infrared Fourier Transform spectrometer
that operates in both limb and nadir viewing modes for
the investigation of the physics and chemistry of the
Earth's lower atmosphere.
TES is currently being integrated onto the AURA
spacecraft in readiness for launch into Sun-synchronous
polar orbit early in 2004.
The talk will focus on pre-delivery system tests and
calibrations as they impact the expected on-orbit
performance.
