The aerosol transport-radiation model, SPRINTARS, simulates global distributions of main tropospheric aerosols, i.e., black
carbon, organic carbon, sulfate, soil dust, and sea salt. It is coupled to an atmospheric general circulation model (AGCM),
including the radiation process for the aerosol direct and first indirect effects and the large-scale condensation process
for the second indirect effect. The cloud droplet number concentration is diagnosed by the aerosol number concentration, size
distribution, chemical properties, and updraft velocity based on the K\"{o}hler theory. To couple the aerosol direct effect
with AGCM also results in treating the aerosol semi-direct effect. In this study, SPRINTARS coupled to mixed layer ocean
simulates the equilibrium climate response to the direct and indirect effects by anthropogenic aerosols. Changes in
temperature and hydrological cycle are especially analyzed.
