Many graduate students, researchers and scientists may not be aware that there are other career opportunities available to
them as scientists besides the traditional academic, government, industrial and private sector tracks. Subject specialists
with science backgrounds are in great demand. Knowledge management and information services affiliated with science and
research is an exciting and creative profession. Contributing to, finding and delivering the range of information now
emerging from new and established disciplines in all formats defines Information Science and Librarianship with a multitude
of opportunities. This poster will offer information to encourage students and researchers with these skills and backgrounds
to consider Information and Library Science as an exciting career path.
