AB: This paper will describe the activities of the NASA Office of Space Science Education Broker/Facilitator in building bridges between space science and the educational needs of Native American communities. Our work thus far has been concentrated in South Dakota and Arizona, with educators from Lakota and Navajo communities. We will discuss the important lessons we have learned from hour efforts to build trust and fruitful partnerships.
