AB: The declining portion of the solar cycle near 35 AU was characterized by a shock-ramp structure with a period of roughly a solar rotation. We discuss the structure observed near 70 AU by Voyager 2, where the shock ramp structure is again seen but with a period of 4-5 solar rotations. At Voyager 2, merging of solar wind driven by CMEs results in correlated changes in speed, density, and magentic field magnititude and thus in dynamic pressure. These order of magnitude changes in pressure should have significant effects on the movement of the termination shock and the propagation of ACRs.
