AB: Distribution of thermal electron temperature and related electron density in the plasmasphere and high latitude inner magnetosphere (altitude range 5000-20000km) is studied using a data-base resulting from the measurement onboard the Interball-2 and MAGION-5 satellites. A second and seldom a third warmer electron pupolations were found. We perform a statistical study of these populations in relation to geophysical parameters. Probability of occurence of the warmer population increases with altitude and is greater at night than during the days hours.
