AB: The Earth Science Data and Service Management System (EDSMS) is a software system for Earth science data and process management and data processing support. It serves as a catalog system that enables users to register and discover metadata of data and process. It also serves as a supporting system that enables data service providers to register data service processes into the system and their users to utilize the services to act upon the data represented in the system. The objective is to build a computing environment for data system/centers to provide the services involving online data processing, such as content-based search, service-oriented retrieval, and online data analysis.
