TI: Several results from the hydro-meteorological studies in the northern Eurasia.

AB: The large area in the northern part of Eurasia is characterized by frozen ground, wide snow cover and typical vegetation, and these land surface components regulate water flow in these areas. The variability of the hydrological conditions under the on-going global warming in these area need to evaluate the regional impact and also for global influence. IORGC of JAMSTEC is maintaining observation network in eastern Siberia and Mongolia, and some network extend to central Siberia. In addition to the presentation of the observation network, following several results obtained through the observational studies will be discussed. (1) Interannual variation of evapotranspiration in north-south transect from tundra, taiga to grassland. (2) Sublimation from snow cover. (3) Characteristics of precipitation recycling.
