AB: Bouguer anomaly value is the root of density structure simulation and terrain correction method plays an important role for obtaining Bouguer anomaly value. How to obtain the complete Bouguer anomaly by reducing complete terrain effect is necessary in gravity study. There are various methods for terrain correction computation, e.g., Hamer (1930), Chang (1998) and Hwang (2003). For all those methods, one is based on Gaussian quadrature and others are based on the direct integration. In this study, we try to test those methods in different simulated topography and use real gravity data in Taiwan to understand how difference between those methods by high-resolution digital terrain model.
