Global surface mass variations including hydrological activities on land, ice mass imbalance, and non-steric sea level
change, have significant implications on climate change and the lives of the world community. These variations also result in
multiple geodetic signatures placing the geodetic discipline at the forefront of research on this important process. The
successful launch and operation of the GRACE gravity mission have marked a revolutionary transition from local and component
measurements to global high resolution mass transport monitoring. GRACE's time-variable gravity fields, GPS deformation
measurements, and an altimeter and other data assimilated ocean bottom pressure model contain overlapping and complementary
information. We use these different types of data separately and in combination to validate and achieve better results. The
combination of GRACE/GPS/OBP over 18 months has yielded high-quality monthly degree-1 surface mass estimates with an
equivalent precision of 0.5 mm in all three components of annual geocenter motion. Full spectrum results up to degree and
order 50 using different combination strategies will also be reported in this presentation.
