AB: We use reverse trajectory land use and hydrologic models to construct a land use legacy map that can be used to quantify the spatial-temporal effects of land use on surface/ground water dynamics. We outline an approach that can be used within a GIS by natural resource managers interested in studying ecosystem dynamics and impacts of land use on stream water quality.
