AB: NASA's Earth-Sun Gateway (ESG) enables access to geospatial data, imagery, models, and visualizations through open standards web services. Through catalog and clearinghouse metadata searches and organizing this information in a registry ESG facilitates researchers, scientists, decision makers and others to discover and access data products, models, and predictions related to Earth Science and observations from NASA as well as other sources. ESG's design, its use of open-standard interfaces, their potential for research and application within the Earth-Sun System sciences and lessons learned will be presented.
