We present results from 12 ingress and egress soundings done within 10
degrees of Saturn's equator. Above the 100-mbar level, near the
tropopause, the vertical profiles of temperature are marked by
undulatory structure that may be associated with vertically
propagating waves. We determine the properties and spectra of these
waves, and speculate on their origins and their dynamical effects on
the upper atmosphere.
