Atmospheric properties of Titan have been measured by the Huygens Atmospheric Structure Instrument (HASI) during the Huygens
probe mission at Titan on January 14th, 2005. The atmospheric profile along the Huygens probe trajectory during entry phase
have been retrieved from the accelerometers data, while below 160 km direct pressure and temperature measurements have been
performed.
The atmospheric vertical profiles retrieved from HASI data are in very good agreement with the model derived from Voyager's
observations, confirm the evidence for a stratopause and yielded a insight on the upper atmospheric structure.
The thermal structure and stability of Titan's atmosphere will be discussed also in relation with the results of ground based
observations and remote sensing observations by Cassini.
