To investigate the magnitude and spatial pattern of millennial-scale climate cycles, planktic Mg/Ca was measured in sediment
cores from three locations in the central North Atlantic.
Measurement of post-bomb core top samples from 7 sites spanning 8-14C (summer) indicate a relationship between Mg/Ca and
temperature slightly weaker than previously reported. An exponential equation of the form Mg/Ca=0.74*exp(0.08*T) was fitted
to the G. bulloides data.
